From the top of the peak of San Costanzo the panorama opens up to 360 degrees over the whole territory of Massa Lubrense, the landscape extends from the gulf of Naples to that of Salerno, you can admire the islands of Galli, Isca, Baia di Ieranto and the adjacent areas. Walking around the church, you can admire everything.

Full Description

Monte San Costanzo is the highest hill in Massa Lubrense. The excursion on foot is also part of the Path of Athena, a ring circuit that connects Punta Campanella to Monte San Costanzo. There are two peaks of the mountain: on the left, the one with the characteristic little white church dedicated to Saint Costanzo; to the right, another peak hosts an air traffic control radio station. Between the two peaks, a small pine forest offers a pleasant shaded area. From here, a limestone staircase leads in a short time to the church of San Costanzo. Right, a bird’s-eye view of the Bay of Ieranto; opposite, the three islets of Li Galli.
